About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ
Can we qualify for the 72 hour visa free?
We hold US passports and will be visiting Singapore on a holiday (US to Beijing to Singapore). The transit in Beijing is about 2 hours. We do not plan to leave the airport since it is a short transit. We know that we do not need one for that. On the return leg, we plan to transit in Beijing for 2.5 days to tour Beijing (Singapore to Beijing to US). Do we qualify for the 72 hour free on the return leg?
