How to refund bullet train tickets?

We are foreigners in Hong Kong. Our friend in Shenzhen helped us to buy tickets for bullet train from Shenzhen north to Qing Yuan for departure on 8/3. Now we cannot go on this trip and would like to refund these first class tickets. Can our friend get us a refund from the train station in Shenzhen?
