About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

My wife and I are travelling to Sydney via Beijing on the outward and return journeys

We have chosen to stay in Beijing for two nights. We would like to do a sightseeing trip including the Great Wall. Can we use the 72hr transit permit or should we make sure we have travel visas for China. We are also staying for one night on the return journey which is about 5 weeks later.

Hi, you can avail this 72 hour free transit in Beijing if you meet above requirements, such as confirmed ticket to a Sydney and valid passport with Australian visa (if required). BTW, it is better if you have hotel booked for your stay in Beijing. Besides, it is ok for you to use this free transit both ways.
