About:Hong Kong Travel

Switching planes in Hong Kong

We are coming from LA to HK and switching planes and continuing to Phiipines. Do we have to leave secure area and go through immigration and security to get to next flight? We only have a 55 min. lay over

Do you have an onward boarding pass?
If you have one, you can follow the directional sign to departures level for boarding gates; then go Go through security screening; then check your gate number and time.
In a word, you need to go through the security, but no immigration. All the process is done in the Transfering Sercure area.
