About:China Visa

Entry as Visa Free Transit - Guanzhou Baiyun Airport

I am Malaysian Citizen visiting Russia, I will be boarding China Southern Airline stopover at Guangzhou airport (CAN) for 20 hours. Can I have free permit for up 20 hours? I would like to visit the city for a night.

Hi, visa is not required, you can just apply for a free stay permit after arrival at the airport. Your passport, flight ticket and hotel reservation (if any) are required for application.

I understood that I will not require for short stay. My question to be exact was, how many hours of visa free?

It is 24 hours for free transit with Malaysian passport.
