beijing to danxia

Hi,I would really like to visit the Danxia colorful mountains. Can you tell me the best (and cheapest) way to get there from Beijing and what is the best time to go there?Thank you very much!

It is best to travel there during March and April and during Oct. and Dec. From Beijing, you can fly to Lanzhou first. Then take a train from Lanzhou to Zhangye. Take a taxi to Zhangye West Bus Station, where there are buses to the Danxia Landform.
