About:Chinese Consulates in Thailand

I am a swedish citizen visiting Thailand and I have a flight ticket to Shanghai but forgot to apply for visa to China before I left Sweden.

Is it possible for me to apply for it when I come to Bangkok, and if so, can it be done in one day? According to your webpage I understand that you can but I need to be sure, otherwise I need to change my travelling plan. I have a 30day tourist visa in Thailand and have an invitation letter from my friend in China, whom I am visiting. Please let me know as soon as possible.

Hi, it is possible for you to get one in Bangkok, but they only provide express service to collect on the second or third business day. Same day service is not available.
