About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Enjoy 72 hour visa free both way?

Hi, I hold US passport and will fly from US to Bei Jing to Hong Kong; and then Hong Kong to Bei Jing to US 2 weeks later. Do I enjoy 72 hour free transit permit both way (ie. each time I land in Bei Jing)?
