S1 visa, what is the sufficient amount to get it?

hi all i am living in Beijing and i want to invite my wife .. how much money is sufficient to show ( with application form) that i can support her financially for 6 months?

There is no specification for how much money you should have. Here is the general rule. Your money should cover all her expenses during her stay in PRC.
