Same Sex Marriage
Can I get a Q1 visa since my spouse and I were legally married over a year ago in America?

Hi, you may need to contact the embassy directly for this. As far as I know, China Government does not accept same sex marriage relationship.0

I would suggest for both of you to get a Z visa and start working together. If you have a BA and TEFL or better you'll be fine.0

I contacted the embassy in Washington and they said to apply. Also, an agency in San Francisco said that the consulate there will issue Q2 to same sex couples.0
