I used to have a crush, but now we are just good friends

As I said, I used to have a crush. His DOB is 10-27-1997, and mine is 10-02-00. He knows that I used to like him, but we are now just good friends, and he says that he has never liked me in a crush sorta way, but I was wondering if there is a possibility that when we are older, he might develop feelings for me. He's very good at hiding his feelings, and I can't see him that often. Will he ever like me, or should I just be friends and be happy?
