china trip paid and in 3 weeks

Hello, my wife and I bought a vacation package to china and it is in 3 weeks. We live in Arizona and need help getting a chinese visa. I saw Los Angeles is the closest consulate, 5 hours away. Do we just show up and apply for it there and can it be given same day?

Hi, rush service has been suspended since 2013, so the processing takes 4 working days. But if you can not visit the consulate in person, you can entrust someone else or a travel agency to handle applications on your behalf.
