hello, one of our sales manager would like to visit china for business purposes

He should apply for a M type for his business trip in PRC. The basic required documents are his passport (valid more than six months and with two blank pages at least), a copy of his passport information page, filled application form affixed with a 48X33mm recent color photo. Another document is the invitation letter from his Chinese business partner. Sometimes a letter of confirmation from the local Chinese authorized unit is required. If he comes to PRC for the first time, a recent six month bank deposit record, BIR-stamped income tax return form, wage proof from his company or professional ID are required.
