About:China Postal Service

Why can't I track my packages and where are they? I have two parcels.

I have two tracking numbers from China.

One says that the origin country is preparing shipment. It has said this for two weeks. Where is it actually and why has it not already arrived, at least in the States? Tracking number: RC036723592CN

The second one cannot even be found in the system. If it was mailed out two weeks ago, why is this the case? Tracking number: RC036723907CN

Thanks!

Thanks for your response.

I was emailed the tracking numbers on January 22, saying that the packages were mailed, so I don't understand why one of them still says that it cannot be found in the system. As for the other tracking number, will the status be updated once the package is in the U.S.? What does "Opening Beijing" mean on the last status update?

The two tracking numbers are:

RC036723907CN
RC036723592CN

Thank you!

This status indicates that your package was picked up and put together to so many other packages on the 29th of January 2014.

That is is only 10 days not two weeks.

RC036723592CN Collection Beijing US Wed, 29 Jan 2014 15:55:00 GMT
RC036723592CN Departure from outward office of exchange Beijing US Thu, 30 Jan 2014 06:59:00 GMT
RC036723592CN Opening Beijing US Thu, 30 Jan 2014 08:07:00 GMT

A package ordered from China reaching USA depends on what kind of China Post service you have chosen. Usually it takes 7 – 20 working days for AIR and SAL mails, and 40 – 70 days for a surface mail. Should there be any delay, it would be as long as 180 days.

China-Post usually uses the cheapest available shipping method. Unfortunately this is also the slowest.

I honestly do not know why one of the tracking numbers cannot be found in the system. Regarding the update of the tracking information about the other package. It simply depends on the carrier involved in USA.

USPS does thing the way it deems right. For registered package they update the information at their own whims and fancies.

“Opening” refers to the process of Customs check in whichever customs area jurisdiction it is in.
