About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for No Visa in China?

I have a 10 hour layover in Shanghai on a trip from Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam to Honolulu Hawaii USA and a 6 hour layover on the way back from Honolulu Hawaii USA to Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. I just want to tour some sites in Shanghai on my stays while at the airport.

Yes, you can enjoy free tranist in Shanghai both ways. You can request and apply for the transit permit directly after arrival at the airport.
