About:China Embassy in Thailand

I am Canadian and my wife is Thai. We plan to go to Canada soon via Hong Kong.

Please note that we will be using "stand by" tickets. Should we expect any visa problem (for my wife) or will the 30 days exemption for Thai people will still be valid without a "confirm ticket"

Thank you for your prompt answer.

May I know how long will you stay in HK?

I would say; "any where between two and five or six hours". And we do not plan to leave the airport.

Thanks

If you will remain in the airport, it is ok for her to enjoy free transit because you will not go through the immigration control actually.
