About:China Tourist Visa

L or G Visa when making many stops in China

I will be travelling to China beginning in Beijing and then flying to Xian staying a couple nights, then flying to cheinging( not sure of the spelling) then boarding a cruise tour which will make 5 stops along the Yangzi where I will disembark for various tours for 5 days, the tour boat will drop me off at Wuhan where I will fly to Shanghai for a couple nights then return by plane to Canada. So do I need a L tourist visa or G multi visa?
