bullet vs express train

Is the "express train" and the "bullet train" the same kind of train in China?

I think they are different, bullet is for train itself, but the express is for rail. The expess is faster.

in general, trains in China are divided into the following types listed from fastest to slowest:
high speed(G or C), bullet(D), express(Z or T), fast(k) and normal trains.
