About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Green Card

I am applying for a green card for mainland China. I am a British citizen and have been living and working in China for 7 years. I have been married to my Chinese wife over 5 years.
I need to send my police check ACRO to the 'Chinese Embassy' [NOT CVASC] and they [The Chinese Embassy] need to legalize the police check document before sending it back to me in China.
How to proceed with this?
Will I need to pay the 'Chinese Embassy' for postage?
Is there anything else I should know?

DRW.

the Chinese embassy does not provide mail service, so you have to submit and collet the documents in person or entitle some one.

i guess the "green card" you said is the permanent residence permit. the regulation says that foreign citizens who lived in China for more than 5 years can apply a permanent residence permit, however, it seems that very few people are able to achieve this status, As China is not an immigrant country (like the USA, Canada, Australia) and does not seek foreign permanent residents. so you have to be prepared that you may be denied.
