I am planing to visit china from 5 to 8 FEB, so is everything closed in GZ during the China Festival?Do you reckon to go to HongKong instead of GZ? and what is the best way to go to HongKong from GZ airport?

No, most of the places will open during the festival and the airport is in operation normally. If you want to enjoy the Chinese traditional festival culture, it is still suggested to go to GZ. if you want to go shopping, HK is advise. From GZ airport, there is no direct bus or trains to HK. So you need to take the airport shuttle bus line 6 to reach CITIC Plaza and then walk to the GZ East Train station to take the direct trains for Hong Hum Station in HK.
