Yu Yuan open during mid autumn festival?

Is Yu yuan open on 15 Sept as its mid autumn festival.

Is it a bad time to travel to Shanghai on 15 n then to Hangzhou on 16 Sept??

Yes. It will be crowded during the festival. Book the tickets and hotels in advance.
