About:Hong Kong MTR

Clarifications of HK transportation card

1.So I can purchase one for 150 HKD with 100HKD worth of consumable load? and if there is still an unused balance when I'm about to leave, they'll refund it?

2. How do you use in MTR stations? Like, how do you select which stop you're going to?

May I know whether you are referring to the Octopus Card in HK? If so, it will be very convenient for travelers who will stay for 3 days or longer. When you are about to leave, you can get back your unused balance for sure. You just need to scan the card when getting into and out of the MTR station and the MTR fare will be automatically paid.
