Connecting flight and stay permit in Shanghai Hongqiao

Hi
Here are my flight details –
1. China Eastern
2. Haneda, Tokyo – Hongqiao Terminal 1, Layover 2h 55m
3. Hongqiao Terminal 2 – Kunming, Layover 14h 30m (intend to stay at hotel)
4. Kunming to Dhaka
My queries –
1. Layover of 2h 55m at Hongqiao is long enough to transport from T1 to T2 and catch connecting flight considering obvious flight delays of China Eastern?
2. Where should I get 24h stay permit to rest at hotel at Kunmig? Is it SH or Kunming?
