surface mail to UK

Hi, I am thinking about sending some large parcels of clothes, books and ornaments back to the UK as we are moving home soon. I think that the surface rate to the UK is Y208.1 base rate for the parcel and then Y22.4 for each KG. I think this means that I would be best sending fewer package which are 30KG each rather than sending in smaller individual packages as I will have to pay over Y200 for each package before the weight is charged. Am I reading the chart correctly? Is there any cheaper options? Thanks!
