About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

TPE > CAN > HK (by surface)

Does this qualify for the 144 hour visa? If so, how do I give evidence of ongoing transportation?

The route qualifies. You have to show your confirmed onward air, rail or cruise ticket when you check-in at TPE. Otherwise you will be denied boarding.
