About:Mount Huashan

Route Suggestion for Mount Hua.

I would like to avoid taking the dangerous routes as I would be travelling with an 81 year old grand aunty and a 71 year old mum. I know there is a temple on the southern peak that is famous for its tea. I would like to try it out. I would also like to hike a little to experience the scenery and atmosphere, and then take the cable car to the southern peak.

Is it possible?

How do I hike to the West Peak? Is there a West Gate or do I have to start at North Peak Entrance and find my way to West Peak?

How do I get to the West Peak Cable Car Station to take the cable car to the southern summit/peak. To avoid the dangerous routes, which entrance should I use?

The cable car is only available from the bottom of the mountain to the top on the north peak or the West Peak.
If you want to hike the West, it is suggested to take the West Peak Cable car from Wengyu at the bottom. Upon reaching the top, you can climb for about ten minutes to reach the West Peak and then later about twenty mintues to the southern peak. The road is not very dangerous, so you can take your elder mum and grand aunty hike slowly.
From the north peak entrance, there is also a cable car station, where you can take the cable car for the north peak, but the road is much steep, so it is not suggested to do so.
