Multi Currency Cards

Hi, I am from Australia and will be traveling through China, from HK to Beijing. My bank (ANZ) and post office do not offer Travel Cards for the Chinese currency (CNY/RMB). They do however offer HKD. Will the HKD be accepted as Visa payment throughout china? Any suggestions or previous experience would be appreciated.

I'm afraid HKD visa payment is generally not accepted in China. You may have to hold Chinese Yuan (RMB) to pay.
