About:Urumqi Weather

Should I visit Urumgi in late March?

I book the trip from 18-24 March 2014. My dream destination is Narat grassland and travel around U. Should I visit in this period? Grassland is green or not?

If you wise to enjoy the real beauty with green grass at Narat Grasland, I don't suggested you go there around 18-24 Mar. Actually, the best time to go is during June and Sep.

Nothing greens at that time ,Its not good time to travel to northern Xinjiang include Narat grassland, Bayinbulak , Kanas lake and Sayram lake . good time is July, June to early september .

Around Urumqi you can go to Heavenly lake, is just 120kms from Urumqi ,lake still frozen that time but around lake area is very beautuful .

Another good choice is go to Turpan , a lot of historical sites are there , Pls dont skip it !
