should i visit urumgi in late march?

I book the trip from 18-24 March 2014. My dream destination is Narat grassland and travel around U. Should I visit in this period? Grassland is green or not?

If you wise to enjoy the real beauty with green grass at Narat Grasland, I don't suggested you go there around 18-24 Mar. Actually, the best time to go is during June and Sep.

Nothing greens at that time ,Its not good time to travel to northern Xinjiang include Narat  grassland, Bayinbulak , Kanas lake and  Sayram lake . good time is July, June to  early september .Around Urumqi you can go to Heavenly lake, is just 120kms from Urumqi ,lake still frozen that time but around lake area   is very beautuful .Another good choice is go to Turpan , a lot of historical sites are there , Pls dont skip it !
