About:China Transit Visa

Do we need a visa to transit in Shangai Pudong International Airport for 13 hours ?

Travelling from Milán IT to Melbourne AUS. One adult and one 10yo child. We have Italian Passport and permanent visa to Australia.

Can I leave the airport?

Visa is not required, you just need to apply for a stay permit if you want to leave the airport.
