How does the silk road affect global development?

The exchanges between oriental and western countries improves the global development, which is represented in the fields of culture, economy, trade and religions. Countries in the world, especially China, Central Asian, Western Aisian, Africa and Europe, are able to have much more communication through the road to learn from each other and cooperate with each other.
