X2-visa extension.

Hi. Is it possible to extend a X2 for a new six-month period? Or change it to X1?
What can I do, if I want to work in Beijing after my current one expires?

Hi, it is possible for you to extend your X2, but it can not be changed to work Z if you plan to work in Beijing. You have to leave and apply work Z outside, from your home country if necessary.

It can be extended at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. You should apply for the extension 7 days prior to its expiry date.
