Gulangyu Island day trip versus 1 night stay in the island

Please inform if a day trip to Gulangyu is enough or recommended to stay 1 night there'.

Hi, one day is enough to cover the whole island. However, generally, tourists prefer to stay there for a night to enjoy themselves beside the sea and experience the night view there.
