About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I qualify for the visa?

I arrive in Shanghai at 6:30 pm from Sydney on 1/15. I depart Shanghai at 12:20 on the 18, but I have a 50 min layover in Hong Kong before I depart for New York. Do I qualify?

It's ok as long as you stay less than 72 hours in Shanghai and have air ticket for the third region.
