About:Jinshanling Great Wall

Travel to Jinshanling in December

Thanks for all the information here. From what I understand, the best way to get there is first to take a bus to Miyun and then take a local tourism bus or rent a car.

I would just like to know how do I go about taking the local tourism bus? Where can i take it from? And how frequent/ what time does it depart?

If I decide to hire a taxi/cab from Miyun to Jinshanling, how much do you think it'll cost, and is it easy to catch a cab back in the opposite direction?

Thanks for all the help :)

Hi, Jamie.
The place to take the local tourism bus is hard to find and to be honest, it is not suggested to take that. I was cheated last time when I transfer in Miyun.
Hiring a car direct is very comfortable and not very expensive and the fare is around 200RMB.

I heard recently, there is direct public buses reach that section from Wangjing West Subway Station of BJ Subway Line 13 and 15. The bus fare is around 32RMB per adult and the buses are from 07:00 to 18:00 with interval around one hour. The duration to the Wall is around one hour and forty mintues. Upon reach Jinshanling Station, you can find the free shuttle buses to the attraction. The last bus to go back to the wall is at around 16:30. I think you may use this method. It is much more convenient.

Hi, does anybody have more details on the buses from Wangjing West? Where do they leave exactly, which line?
