Question

Intend to buy high speed train ticket at the Guangzhou south railway station. Will I be able to get the tickets on the spot. Is the ticket counter very crowded.  How long does it take to get a train ticket. what is cost of 1 ticket .I am going over in mid March

Yes, you will be able to buy the ticket on the spot and generally, it won't be very crowded in mid March. You may just need to spare around 10min to get a ticket if there is queue. And it costs CNY70 for a second class seat and CNY90 for a first class seat.
