Travel visa to Hong Kong

Hello, I am a Vietnamese citizen currently holds a U.S. student type one. I'm planning to travel from the United States to Hong Kong just for 3 days, and I'm wondering if I would need to apply for another one for HK. Thank you!

Yes, you should apply for a special one from Chinese embassy in the US if you plan to visit HK. Or you can apply from HK Immigration Department directly. You should submit your passport, finished application form (Hong Kong visa), a passport size photo, flight itinerary and other documents proving your purpose of visiting HK.
