I want to come to buy electronics in January. Is it okay to come to Shenzhen in January with the Chinese New Year at that time?

You'd better avoid to buy electronics during Chinese Spring Festival since Late Jan. to early Feb. In other period of Jan. 2014, all the markets and shops will open as usual.
