About:Nanning - Hanoi Trains: T8701/ T8702

electronic visa

while the above says electronic visa is not accepted when entering Vietnam, multiple sources indicate there is a policy change in 2026 and the official evisa application now has the option dong dang international border gate (without indicating as railway), has anyone successfully use a evisa in 2026 when enter this railway port?

Sorry that dong dang international border gate is not an eligible border gate for the Vietnam e-visa.

Did dang dong mong cai border using eVisa. multiple times. had an eVisa but probably didnt need one.

Also theres an early morning train from nanning to mong cai. this location is good if you are heading from ha long bay

update, I was actually refering to mong cai, dong xing. where u can use eVisa
