May I ask can the visa be extended for another 3 days after the visa application has been issued?

Sorry, the extension can't be done at the embassy. When you arrive in PRC, you can ask for an extension from the local PSB seven days in advance before it expires. If your extension is granted, you will usually get 30 days at least. Of course you can leave if you don't want to stay 30 days more.0
