Philippine Passport holder travelling DXB-CJU with 21:55 hr long-wait connection from Shanghai

Hello! I am travelling to Jeju Island from Dubai with a stopover of 21:55 hours in Shanghai. Will I need to apply for a transit visa if I want to go out of the airport and have a sight-seeing while waiting for my connection? My return flight to Dubai has another stopover of 16:10 hours again in Shanghai.. please let me know.

Thank you very much.

You should apply for the stay permit at the airport if you want to leave out to see the city. It's for free.
