Can I collect my train ticket at the new Kunming airport on arrival?

Yes, you can. There is train ticketing office in the airport, where you can collect your ticket.

Many thanks for your reply. We will be arriving at 5.00 pm. May I also ask what what time the train ticketing office close at the airport?

As I know, it operates till 17:00, so you may not be able to collect your ticket upon landing. Sorry for that! Anyway, there are many other train ticket offices in the city for your convenience.

Hi Vivian

We intend to take the K9602/602 which departs at 22.55 to Lijiang. Since we are landing at 17.00 I suppose we will only reach the railway station from 19.00 to 20.00 (hopefully there is no delay in the AK flight). Which time does the train ticket office close in the main station? Do we have enough time?
