About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

My husband holds an immigrant visa to United States; Can he use the 72 hr. free visa?

We are going on vacation to the Phil. in April; flying with China Airlines. We plan to visit Shanghai on our way back to US. My husband holds a Philippine passport but an immigrant of United States. We live in NY. Please let us know if he requires to get a L type.

Yes, he should apply for a L type or G type in advance.
