About:China Transit Visa

Do we need to reclaim luggage and transit visa for 2 transits?

Hello;

I am planning to visit Nepal from Korea via Qingdao and Kunming airport. So, do we need to reclaim our luggage and do we need a transit G if we travel through TAO Qingdao, SD, China and KMG Kunming, YN, China. Actually I have 2 transits before I reach kathmandu from incheon.
The details of the flight are as follows:
Depart=> ICN Seoul, South Korea to TAO Qingdao, SD, China(transit:18h 35m) to KMG Kunming, YN, China (transit: 2hr 55min) and finally to KTM Kathmandu, Nepal.
[Depart : Sat, Jan 25 ICN to KTM – 2 stops total flight time = 29h 20m]

Please reply.

Thanks.

Since you stay less than 24 hours in these two cities, you are not required to apply for a G type one. However, a stay permit is required and you can apply for that when you arrive in Qingdao. I think you should consult with your airlines for reclaiming luggage. They can help with this.
