About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

I have forgotten to get a visa for my business trip to China.

I have booked a flight to China on the 28/12/13 - 02/01/14. It is now the 14/12/13. How long will the process take? Are you open between Christmas and New years and can it be done via post or fax/email?

Hi, you need to apply through CVASC. The center will be closed on December 25-26 for Christmas. Regular processing takes 4 working days, but you can also use express or rush service if necessary. So, time is still enough for your application. Post application is accepted, but it takes about 10 working days.
