Tourist visa days-per-stay?

Hi, earlier this year (March) I managed to get a 90-days-per-stay single entry tourist L in Chiang Mai.

Is this still possible?

UK passport holder.

It is hard to say, but you can have a try to apply it again. Your previous one is also helpful for your application this time.

Before this year, it used to be true that having an old visa helped (in which case you could get 2x90 days), but in March this year they said it didn't make a difference whether you had been to China before or not.

Anyway, you can put your request of 90 days L in the application form. But it is ok even if you get 30 days one, because the L can be extended once time in China.

I'd actually like 3 months plus extensions, so it would be good to know if anyone has received a 90-days per stay one in the past few months...?

I just called the consulate and they said the maximum tourist L is 30 days per stay. I think they also said double-entry.
