is it possible to extend the days on my S1? where should i go to extend it?

i've currently gotten a 60 days (S1) and planning to stay at my friend's house in Xi'an but i am planning to stay in china for a longer period.

Hi, you have a 60 days S1 type? as I know, S1 is issued for long-term visitor who need also change it to a residence permit after entry. Please check yours again, is it a S2 or else? As I know, the S2 can be extended if the holder wants to stay longer in China.
