About:Chinese Embassy in Netherlands

Chinese citizen with resident of the Netherlands

Hi, I am a Chinese with resident of the Netherlands. I bought the return flight tickets from Netherlands to Shanghai in next February. In that period I want to visit Hong kong. I see some information in the web that we can have 7 days free enter Hong kong without a visa if we have Dutch ID. But my tickets have no relation with Hong kong. So I want to ask in this situation, can i have the permission to enter Hoing kong or I still need to apply for any HK type? PS: I have no exit permits to enter Hong Kong in PRC.

If you hold the direct flight from Netherlands to Shanghai, I am afraid that you can only enter HK when you come to Shanghai. In this way, you should apply for an entry permit from the office of HK SAR in Beijing and then you can visit HK.
