About:China Family Reunion Visa

Does marriage certificate need to be translated into Chinese for Q1 visa?

I am Canadian and my husband is Chinese. I would like to apply for the Q1 type. We were married in Canada this year so our marriage certificate is in English. The certificate has already been authenticated by the Chinese consulate in Canada. Does it also need to be translated into Chinese in order to apply for the Q1 in Hong Kong?

I don't think you need to translate your marriage certificate to apply for the Q1 type. The original and a copy of it are required.
