i have a close friend in Hong Kong today that could buy some Jade for me.

I would like something of value but with all my study it looks like there are a lot of false jades out there and a buyer can be fooled easily. Mutton fat is expensive but it could be dyed. Some shops charge way too much. Any ideas?

You can ask your friend to buy from the formal stores, such as Chow Tai Fook.
If he know some information about the jade, you can ask him to choose from Jade Market on Carton Road. In the Jade Market, he may find different kinds of jade articles.
