do i need a visa to go to Hong kong from guangzhou, and how much is the speed train to hong kong from GZ

If you plan to stay in HK for no more than 90 days, the HK visa is not needed.
For the speed train between GZ and HK, I think you may mean the direct train between the two cities, right?
If so, the train ticket takes about 190HK$ per person.
